On April 29, 2021, the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) delivered 89 student kits to Caemba. This partnership between humanitarian aid organizations allowed these kits to be distributed on May 11 to students who are refugees as well as to Ecuadorian children.
The student kits were given to students living in the Nueva Esperanza neighborhood, Atacames. These kits will support students in creating educational portfolios and their continuation in the public education system.
At Caemba, we are very pleased to collaborate with UNHCR because in this way, the beneficiary base of our various projects expands, benefiting the entire community in general. This helps improve educational, socio-economic, and health indices, among other aspects.
