On June 28, 2020, 36 food kits were delivered in the Rivera del Río Atacames. Several local families and individuals in situations of human mobility benefited from this distribution. This was achieved thanks to the financing and support of the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and the Ecuadorian Fund for Progress (FEPP).
Fundación Raíz Ecuador and its project Casitas Emergentes de Bambú (CAEMBA) coordinated the logistics for the direct delivery of the food to the beneficiaries.
